About Dustin
Dustin is Bud Clary Auto Group's Marketing Director. The group is family-owned, now in its third generation, and runs 14 franchise stores in five Washington cities. His 10 years there have covered Ford, Chevrolet, Subaru, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.
He has loved cars since he was a little boy. His first lessons on a manual gearbox came in a Mercedes-Benz 240D. When he graduated from high school he held a certificate of work readiness and AYES and NATEF certifications, along with college credits picked up while working toward an ASE certification.
He still wrenches on anything that has a motor. What he drives today: a Chevy Silverado 1500 on a mid-travel suspension setup, a Nissan 370Z that he drifts, and his favorite, an all-wheel-drive Audi A6 TDI fed by a large single turbo. That TDI is approaching 200,000 miles, and he has upgraded and replaced its turbo three times, every job done with his own hands. His cars have seen another mechanic's hands one time, for a key fob that needed programming.
His goal for every page is simple: tell shoppers what he would tell a friend.
